To celebrate the 150th anniversary of the beloved classic Little Women, the Parents Television Council’s “4 Every Girl Campaign” will be hosting a Red-Carpet event and pre-release screening of a new film, Little Women, in Atlanta, Ga., on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

The PTC, a nonpartisan education organization advocating responsible entertainment, has partnered with Pinnacle Peak, an independent film studio that produces, markets and distributes family-friendly, inspirational movies, for this special event. The first film to be released by Pinnacle Peak, Little Women is a modern retelling of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved novel about four sisters who celebrate their dreams, family and unconditional love. Starring Lea Thompson, Little Women has been awarded the PTC Seal of Approval and is safe for the entire family to watch.

“We’re excited to announce this pre-screening of Little Women – the perfect opportunity for those hungry for decent and engaging entertainment – before the film hits theaters on Sept. 28. We are proud for our ‘4 Every Girl Campaign,’ which seeks to create a media environment where girls feel valued and are defined by healthy images of themselves, to be partnering with Pinnacle Peak to ensure that audiences have the opportunity to see the film in advance. This modern version of Little Women is a heartwarming story that is sure to delight audiences and stands as a beacon of light in a rather dark world of entertainment,” said PTC President Tim Winter.

“We are pleased to stand together with the Parents Television Council in regards to our Pinnacle Peak Pictures’ release of a modern retelling of LittleWomen, Louisa May Alcott’s 150-year-old literary classic. This film aligns with the very mission of PTC and its ‘4 Every Girl Campaign’ that advocates for media images that value, respect, empower and promote the true value of every girl. The film finds Marmee, the matriarch of the beloved March family, encouraging her four daughters to dream and envision their future through challenging and difficult times. This is entertainment you can trust for the whole family,” states Franklin Santagate, Executive Vice President of Marketing for Pure Flix Entertainment and Pinnacle Peak Pictures.

The Atlanta pre-screening will be held at Regal Hollywood Stadium 24 @ North I-85, 3265 Northeast Expressway, Chamblee, Ga., on Wednesday, September 26. The Red-Carpet event opens at 6:00 pm, and the screening starts at 7:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased at http://littlewomen.parentstv.org/.
