The City of Alpharetta will close a portion of the Big Creek Greenway for necessary emergency repairs.
The trail will be closed between Old Milton Parkway and Preston Ridge Road, where the YMCA is located. The work is scheduled from Monday, Oct. 8 until Friday, Oct. 12. Trails will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.
No weekend work will occur and the greenway will be open at 5 p.m. each day after the daily work is completed.
Without any unforeseen circumstances, all repairs are scheduled to be completed with all trails open by Friday, Oct. 12 at 5 p.m.
