Red carpet arrivals begin at 12:00 p.m.

“Women make incredibly important contributions to the professional football industry, and play such a critical role in the lives of NFL players,” said Kelli Masters, one of the event’s founding members. “These amazing individuals deserve to be celebrated!”

About The Event

This year’s event will highlight and honor women who are making a difference in the world of sports, and specifically, the National Football League. Along with Masters, the event’s founding members include Jennifer Beaver and Ashley Kerns, collectively sports industry mainstays.

From the front office to the field, the negotiation table to brand strategy, women are growing their presence in sports and impact on professional football.

This event salutes the many women who provide the support and guidance needed for athletes to achieve success, as well as women who make the sport what it is today – and are working to grow and improve it.

CEO and Founder of the impact-driven entertainment studio, Women Rising, Sara Hirsh Bordo, an award-winning filmmaker and former Hollywood executive committed to storytelling that empowers women, will also be in attendance directing and filming content.

Hirsh Bordo will be interviewing and filming mentor moments to be shared with young women looking for a career in sports.

“We are honored and humbled to be part of a history-making event of this kind during Super Bowl weekend, one that not only celebrates and uplifts all women in sports, but that also welcomes the men who are supporting women as they advance their careers in football and other traditionally male-led industries,” said Bordo.

Women of Football is made possible by the generous support of: Women Rising, Monster Energy, Spanx, Victor George Vodka, Luc Belaire, Bumbu Rum, Recoup Fitness, and Collagen Blu.

About The Movie

The new movie, “What Men Want,” is a modern version of the Mel Gibson film “What Women Want” and features Ali Davis, played by Taraji P. Henson, as a successful sports agent who’s constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When Ali is passed up for a well-deserved promotion, she questions what else she needs to do to succeed in a man’s world… until she gains the ability to hear men’s thoughts.

With her newfound power, Ali looks to outsmart her colleagues as she races to sign the next basketball superstar, but the lengths she has to go to will put her relationship with her best friends and a potential new love interest, played by Aldis Hodge, to the test.

“What Men Want” is the latest comedy from director Adam Shankman and producers Will Packer and James Lopez, co-starring Tracy Morgan, Richard Roundtree, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Josh Brener, Tamala Jones, Phoebe Robinson, Max Greenfield, Jason Jones, Brian Bosworth, Chris Witaske and Erykah Badu.
