Gwinnett County Police are searching for a bold criminal who was caught on camera stealing $1,000 worth of lawn equipment from a local Ace Hardware store in broad daylight.
Police say the theft occurred Dec. 27. The suspect was recorded pulling into the Ace Hardware at 275 Athens Highway in unincorporated Loganville.
The suspect then pulled up to the front of the store and parked. After parking, he walked over to the wheeled blowers, selected one that was valued at about $1,000, and loaded it on his trailer.
Surveillance footage then shows him backing out and leaving the hardware store.
