Do you know the risks your child encounters on the Internet? The Dunwoody Police Department wants to help

Are you concerned about what your child is seeing on the Internet? A special presentation by the Dunwoody Police Department could be what you’re looking for to help navigate the potential dangers of your child’s online use.

The Dunwoody Library will host a presentation by the Dunwoody Police Department Saturday, March 23, from 2pm to 3:30pm.

Online access for kids comes with risks, such as inappropriate content, cyberbullying and online predators. A Dunwoody police officer will discuss these and other risks with parents and guardians to help prevent their children from becoming victims.

A former FBI agent will discuss child identification kits, where parents get and retain fingerprints and DNA samples, and the FBI Child ID App. For more information, email Officer Anwar Sillah: anwar.sillah@dunwoodyga.gov
