Jogger attacked by two robbers at Gwinnett County park

NORCROSS — A jogger was robbed and stabbed at Graves Park Tuesday morning and police are asking for your help identifying his assailants.

Police say att approximately 7 a.m. on July 2, they responded to Graves Park located at 1540 Graves Road in unincorporated Norcross where the victim told them he was robbed and stabbed by two men while jogging on the park trail.  

The victim told police that the men blocked him as he approached, displayed knives, and demanded his wallet and phone. The victim complied but not before being stabbed in the leg.

The victim then chased the robbers to the Regal Vista Apartments in DeKalb County and observed them getting into a black passenger car and exiting the complex.

The victim was treated and transported to a local hospital for his injuries. 

The robbers are described as Hispanic males with a thin build, one with short curly hair and the other with long curly hair,” said Michele Pihera, spokeswoman for the Gwinnett County Police Department.
