BUFORD — The second suspect in the murder investigation of a 15-year-old who was shot and killed behind a Buford gas station has been arrested.
On July 16, Savion Dillard was arrested by the Marshals Task Force in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Dillard does not have any additional charges in Wisconsin, therefore he will be extradited back to Georgia in the near future.
Dillard, a Jonesboro resident, has been charged with Felony Murder, Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony.
Police have also charged 21-year-old Denzel Wilburn of Buford with Armed Robbery and Possession of Marijuana.
Detectives say they believe that Dillard and Wilburn traveled to the incidentlocation to rob the victim and witness, who police say were selling marijuana.
According to police, Dillard is believed to have shot the suspect, while Wilburn drove the vehicle and received proceeds of the robbery and murder.
Wilburn was arrested without incident and remains in custody at the Gwinnett County Detention Center. Dillard is on the run and has active warrants for his arrest.
